Back in January I wrote a post about Bryonie Porter’s original wallpapered furniture. I love homes with a bit of personality rather than a minimilst magnolia box that only worries about putting off potential buyers.
More recently I have discovered isak that produce gifts and co-ordinated home accessories. They say about themselves “We are all about beautiful happy things!” and I have to agree whole heartedly with that statement. I just love this range of wallpaper.

About a week ago, while checking up on Richard on twitter I noticed these amazing shots he had taken on an evening bike ride.
After some gentle persuasion I can finally show you Richard’s stunning shots of the bluebells in the woods near Skipton.
They really put my shots to shame.

As a creative type I find that I can’t switch off the moment I leave my Mac. In my free time I fill sketch books, collect many curiosities and I try to carry my camera with me on every day out.
So I thought I would share with you my recent shots. I was inspired by this glorious weather, some free time and a willing subject.
The best tip I could give for getting a shot you’re really pleased with is just take lots and delete the not so great ones.
That really is one of the great things about digital cameras.
