’Tis the month before Christmas, and all through the place,
The creatives are stirring for the Christmas Card race.
Outside the snow is falling, bringing festive cheer.
Inside we’re brainstorming, for that brilliant idea…

Matt wants superb printing and Ian wants it cheap,
Maria loves origami and Caroline wants unique
Melissa likes recycled, Andy a font that’s fine,
Louise wants a photo and Richard great design.

Will it be uncoated with plenty of folds?
No-one can think straight, we’re all full of colds.
What about recycled, glossy or matt?
How about a picture of Humphrey in a hat?

’The ideas are flowing, with doodles galore.
The atmosphere’s electric, as we all push for more.
Then somebody shouts, ‘think outside the Norm!’
Why not create something fun and hand-drawn?

Be bold, be brave, be brilliant we must.
Louise ends the brainstorm with ‘Why don’t we just…
Share our Christmas wishes written in verse.’
What a lovely idea, the more we converse.

So we scribbled and doodled to create this card,
When we put our heads together it wasn’t that hard.
We send these Season’s Greetings in seasonal rhyme,
Merry Christmas to all and have a great time.

The Making of…
The corporate Christmas card is one of those necessities at this time of year that most just want ticked off the list as soon as possible. As a creative agency the pressure is always on to come up with something new – which is getting harder each year after 10 years of business!

We always rise to the challenge though and love this year’s card. Everyone in the company has contributed to our festive poem which tells the story of the journey we go on each year.

We’ve all drawn our own doodles too – even one of Lou’s made it in but lots and lots didn’t. Here are the ones that just wouldn’t fit on the final.
