The best sarnies ever...?

Ever obsessed with food, and in honour of British Sandwich Week we at ICM will be thinking a little more about what goes in to our sandwiches, this week.

The British Sandwich Association has even launched a pre-packed sandwich, the Great British Hammie, especially for the week – “a truly great British sandwich” – featuring British Standard Quality ham, Granary® bread and a selection of ingredients sourced from British suppliers.

All of this is in the run up to British Sandwich Industry Awards Dinner in London later on this month (21st May), at which the British Sandwich Designer of the Year will be announced.

So, today:
• Tasha had Brussels paté, beetroot and coleslaw on multi-seeded,
• Louise had bacon, tomato and rocket on granary,
• Sally had tuna, lettuce and cucumber on multi-seeded and
• I had honey-roast ham and mayo on a bagel.

Clearly Tasha wins for most exciting (and pretty darn tasty), and I get most unexciting (though it was also tasty).

So, what will you be putting on your sarnies this week people? And what should I make tomorrow? …

Funny for money.....

What with today being Red Nose Day we could not sit back and not do anything to help out this good cause. We have all come in non-uniform, wearing at least one item of red, we have been been buying and eating lots of nice cakes, biscuits and sweets (any excuse for naughty food in the office!). Thoughout the day we have been telling jokes and tweeting them too (see @richardpeacock) and playing jargon bingo (Richard being the first to a full house). Personally I think the bingo was funniest as everyone was trying really hard not to say certain words and catchphrases!
We all did our something funny for money!!
