The Wedding (Part three)

The wedding is now only two months away, or to be a little more precise just over 8 wks or 58 days! The time just seems to have flown.

I am finding more and more all of my stray thoughts lead to the wedding, and I can see peoples eyes glaze over when I mention it for the seventh or eighth time in an afternoon. I just can’t help it. I can hear myself doing it but I am powerless to stop. I am thankful that I am kept so busy at work as 8hrs a day for 5 days a week I am free from thinking about it. But when the night comes the dreams and nightmares start. I have been told this is all normal and will stop after it is all done with.

My wedding tourettes has inspired the attached image which is currently adorning my wall and continually in the corner of my eye.

Thank you Richard for trying but it just isn’t working. But never mind, only 58 days of it to go!

Me too! Think yourself lucky Melissa I've got another 18 months or to be more precisely 540 more days to go. I've already started with the nightmares and its all anyone asks me about now. Just think - when your day has been and gone - Richard will be able to listen to my plans for another 16 months.

Caroline, just make sure you make Richard suffer as I have. As soon as my wedding is over, you can have my "no wedding talk' sign and ignore it the way I have :)

Byron, Your very strange but the perfect head bridesmaid :)

I might ask Richard to be a bridesmaid - then he can be totally involved and it's in keeping with your theme of having a bloke in drag on the day.

Byron refused to wear a dress. Maybe you will have more luck with Richard. I see him in a Bow-Peep style outfit in canary yellow. It will really bring out his beard.

If Richard agrees to it - I would definitely ask him.
Although Matt T might be a bit put out - I think he would want to be Chief Bridesmaid since he's my best buddie. What's a girl to do!!

I did offer to wear a dress but you said no, theres still time to get one fitted :-) although yellow isn't my colour it would have to be pink and purple

Yes, you were very keen on wearing a dress, but what about the leg wax to go with it?

Posted by Melissa on Thursday 20th of March 2008 at 4:48pm
