And you thought the drumming gorilla was strange...

Should I get it?

I love these ads where things come to life without us humans around to keep an eye on things. Harvey's the furniture shop ads in the Corrie breaks are also a big hit with me. Love the Gorilla and love this one too. Looking forward to the next one!

But there are people driving the vehicles dude!

I don't think they are actual people.

Is that your comeback? What are they then? Little robots that live in the vehicles?

I've been having a think about this and it doesn't matter whether they are real people or not. The point is that they are having a great time whizzing around in their trucks - the same feeling that you get from eating a delicious bar of Cadbury's chocolate.

I'm disappointed that people are driving them though, makes it lose it's magic. I actually thought when I first saw the ad that it had been made by Pixar because the trucks look so toy like. That would have been better.

I will now boycott buying this brand of chocolate just because everytime it is shown it simply annoys me, to the point of talking out loud to the TV and making rude gestures - which means I now associate the brand with a bad vibe and a waste of my time.

Really? I quite like it still, but I suppose that's because I've only seen it a couple of times. I guess my television viewing habits aren't inline with their target demographic - which I find amusing.
I don't think this add is as brave as the gorilla, but it's still pretty good and I'm looking forward to the next one coming out. Can't wait to see if they can continue the random theme.

These ads are becoming 'one hit wonders'. I simply reach for the remote to change channels when I see this ad.

I suppose it has done it's job. In a world of YouTube, Flickr, Facebook and Google have we any time or patience for ads like Fly Fishing by J R Hartley?
