First ever live advert

This is the first ever live advert as shown on Channel 4 last night at 8.10pm. Usually we talk about whether this kind of brand awareness advertising works, but when an ad is this cool I don’t really think it matters!

Very excited about this, can’t wait for more.

Check out the Honda website to see the ad as well.

I really loved the build up to this ad - all the 'difficult is worth doing' teasers - really engaging.

They didn't make me make the move from the tv to my mac across the room to visit the website, which is a shame, but I think part of that because of the time they were on - in the middle of a show I quite like, just after I've eaten my dinner, so I'm less motivated to get up - unless it's to get a cup of tea.

But - I've been to the site now, and it's quite interesting, so go check it out.

Ooh... the new dawn of advertainment*

I personally liked the bit where the cameraman has 'hello mum' written on his gloves. Live television should always be used for 'hello mum' opportunities!

*have I invented a new word? Can it go in the dictionary?

According to Richard the plane that is in the ad crashed the next day. Scary stuff!
