Big Bang Day
Well, they’ve put it off and they’ve put it off, but now it’s made it onto the BBC schedule, so it must be official!
The new date for “one of the most complex and significant experiments of modern times” is Wednesday 10th September – at around 8.30am (BST). Radio 4 have a whole day of programmes in honour of it (including a special Torchwood of all things!) and a little mini site for you to learn more.

Read Richard’s explanation of it all in his post Keep your eyes peeled for the Higgs Boson
