Wal-mart and Big Brother have Facebook pages – what is going on?
It is an opportunity that can’t be passed by with an audience growing everyday, free advertising, marketing and PR. I’m beginning to realise the hypocrisy of my position. It’s such a good idea, but I really hate the feeling of intrusion.

That was a bit of a rant in the post, but I think that the feeling of businesses trying to sell to you while you are trying to chat to your friends online feels intrusive.
but then so is billboard advertising, tv adverts and everything! if everyone stopped using facebook and other mass marketed froms of communiction rather than talking or metting up, then there wouldn't be the corporate interest.
we the users are more corporate than the corporations!
