The pink adventure continues....

What a fun lunch time we had here at ICM. As part of ‘Dare to Wear it Pink’ day we brought in food and drink that was either pink or began with the letter ‘p’. We had a large range of food from pizza to pink marshmallows, very runny jelly (thanks to Tasha!) to sausage rolls and lots in beween as you can see from the picture below.

We also took part in a Pink Posers Quiz in which Marian was the winner with 11 points. Questions included ‘What is the artist Pink’s real name?’ and ‘On the map of the London underground system, which line is marked pink?’

We have managed to raise an amazing £43.55 in the office today, part of this came from Louise selling her pink fairy cakes. This added to Matt’s Just Giving sponsorship money gives us a total of £461.55 so far

Clever us! Think my cakes deserve a separate blog entry actually! Or at least a close up photo...

They are exceedingly yummy cakes! :) Thanks Lou. I don't think I need any more sugar for the rest of the weekend... but, since it's for charity, I might just be able to stretch to one more...?

It has been a good day today. I do which I hadn't eaten so much though.

The cakes are very tasty Louise. What colour are next weeks cakes going to be?

My jelly too looks great. A big congrats to Adam Blake for his contribution to my non-existent jelly making skills.
And awesome cakes!

That'll be 25p then Sian! Actually no, I'll reduce them to 24p as it's 5.20pm.

It's been a great day.

We've learnt a very important lesson to take with us, and I for one have a new outlook on life now that I know...

...jelly has a better chance of setting if you don't eat some of the cubes before making it!
