Introducing Apps and Hats
apps and hats teaser… from Christine Morris on Vimeo.
Apps and Hats is a six minute review show focusing on iPhone applications. Aired every two weeks, Apps and Hats seems to have found a unique approach to the online review show format. Each episode will feature Christine and Hattie reviewing a range of iPhone applications from a broad spectrum of categories, whilst wearing different outfits (including hats) ranging from razor-sharp business suits to restrictive Victorian corsets.
The teaser above looks engaging and shows the girls obviously enjoying their project, which is probably the key to a successful online review show or podcast. Too many times I’ve seen these shows where the presenter seems to be going through the motions to fulfill an allotted amount of air-space.
The only slight flaw I can see so far is that, to date there are over 15,000 iPhone applications to choose from – and I’m not sure there are 15,000 different outfits available for the girls to present in!
Good luck with the project, looking forward to the first episode launching on the 20th March.
