JUST MOVE OVER!!!

Why oh Why oh why do people drive in the outside lane when there is no other traffic on the road? Last night on the way home from work I was driving home when I came across a woman (now I’m not saying its just women) in her Mercedes oblivious to any body else on the road in the outside lane not over taking any body.

After a few 100 yards she then noticed me behind her and proceeded to move over into the inside lane. Once I had passed her and moved into the inside lane (meant for normal people) she then indicated and moved back into the outside lane causing more people to either be stuck behind her or do an illegal undertake.

WHY? Is it an optional extra that comes with big expensive cars that only allows you to drive in the outside lane?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!

Thanks for listening I feel a little bit better now.

This is a subject I feel very strongly on and I share your frustrations. Middle lane drivers are among my least favourite of road users closely followed by the 45mph driver. These are the drivers that will only drive at a maximum of 45mph. If they are on a 70 limit they will do 45mph and if they are on a 30 limit they will do 45mph. They seem to be unaware of other road users, the highway code (i.e the law) and seem to think that every other road user is in the wrong.

Now, it can't be just Darren and I that suffer as a result of the stupidity of these people?

From my experience I would say it is usually your little car user that causes the most chaos. Mr and Mrs "we don't get out much" (usually seen in a red Micra). Who plod along on the motorway, dither at junctions and seem oblivious to everyone else. Its not the size of the car it's the lack of imagination from the driver.
