White Space
Snow. You either love it or hate it – and there’s plenty of it around at the moment to either love or hate.
Personally I love the stuff. From an aesthetic point of view snow is a great leveller; it turns a complicated view into a uniform vista of white, tidying the landscape – even in town; there never seems to be as much litter around when it has snowed.
Even the mundane becomes beautiful – from snow-topped lampposts to highlighted tree branches – everything takes on a slightly magical quality, even sinister looking speed cameras look acceptable with a jaunty topping of snow.
So here’s a quick poll, like me, do you love the white stuff? Or is it just a general nuisance?
