Dancing Queen
As the grouse shooting commenced on the ‘Glorious 12th’ of this month our very own Caroline turned 40 which is always a great reminder that it is also my mum’s birthday and she turned 59 this time. (Sorry mum, but Happy Birthday!)
In the spirit of my last blog ‘De-clutter’ I decided that rather than yet another ornament or vase to clutter her already full cabinets and shelves, I would buy us both tickets to see Dancing Queen at The Grand Theatre and Opera House in Leeds.
What a fantastic night out! The theatre itself is another great example of beautiful Leeds architecture and the auditorium is just amazing.
The show was so much fun. Lots of ABBA hits and other songs from the 70’s with high energy dance routines. It was just a huge party on stage.
The highlight for me was the YMCA. It was so funny. I can highly recommend this show and it is guaranteed to lift everyone’s spirits and could be a great start to fabulous night out.
